Research on wind turbine
We are analyzing airflow around wind turbines using FrontFlow/Blue, a CFD software developed at the University of Tokyo. Using the supercomputer "Fugaku", we are conducting high-resolution analysis of vortex shedding on wind turbine blades and studying the effects of turbulent wakes on wind turbines installed downstream of another turbine, such as wind farms.
